PROJECT: «SECOND ASPARUHOV BRIDGE ON TWO LEVELS» OF THE “BSEZC“ NPA

“In order to optimize the transport infrastructure and traffic in the region, the construction of a new second bridge to the existing Asparuhov Bridge in the project” Second Asparuhov Bridge on two levels” is proposed according to the approved route for the second bridge under the current General Development Plan – Varna. The construction of a second bridge is an important transport project of the city of Varna, which will allow the complete removal of the transit traffic from the Hemus and Black Sea highways via the new cable bridge and will significantly reduce the urban traffic through the city. It is planned for the bridge to be built on two levels (two-stage implementation): Level 2 – for traffic from the city and from Levski Blvd. and Level 1 – for the traffic from the “Hemus” and “Black Sea” highways.“
